What is a lift-and-slide door?
Turning the handle lifts the leaf a few millimetres off its seal; it then rolls in front of the fixed panel and lowers back into the seal when closed. Even very large, heavy leaves move easily this way — with a low threshold, by hand, with lift assist or motorised.
Lift-and-slide or PSK door?
The lift-and-slide door is built for large widths — the element measures up to 6500 mm in width — and carries heavy leaves; it does not tilt. The PSK door tilts to ventilate, is more affordable and reaches 6500 mm in width.

Budget: uPVC, depth 85 mm, Uf 1.6 W/(m²K), RC2. Mid-range: uPVC, depth 82 mm, 5 chambers, Uf 1.4 W/(m²K), RC2. Premium: uPVC, depth 88 mm, Uf 1.3 W/(m²K). Manufacturers: aluplast, Rehau, VEKA and Kömmerling — each a true lift-and-slide profile with its own sash limits. Uf values 1.3–1.6 W/(m²K).
Glass, hardware and drive with prices
Triple glazing Ug 0.7 W/(m²K) preset, double glazing Ug 1.1 selectable; acoustic glass +16 %, laminated safety glass CHF 211.75 per m². The sash runs by hand, with lift assist (operating force reduced by up to 50 % according to the hardware maker) or with a motor — both separate items in the Accessories step.

Delivery across Switzerland — time and cost
Up to 12 products: usually 3–5 weeks. More than 12 products: up to 8 weeks. For special colours the delivery time extends by up to 2 weeks. Transport: CHF 720 for the first element, each further piece of the same type 30 % of that, at most CHF 1'500 per order, free from CHF 5'000 order value — kerbside, one tariff for all of Switzerland.
You get what you configure
The drawing is the production specification: sizes to the millimetre, opening type, glass, colour inside and outside. The indicative price includes 8.1 % VAT and every option; only transport is added. Warranty (T&C section 9): 5 years on profiles, insulating glass and window hardware, 2 years on door hardware and roller shutters.
Colours and decors
16 swatches: white, 10 decor foils such as Golden Oak, Nussbaum, Anthrazitgrau and Anthrazitgrau Glatt, 4 standard RAL shades. Outside decor +25 %, standard RAL +28 %; inside and outside separate.
Durable, because measurable
The sash limits per system are checked before the price. The systems state burglar resistance RC2 and sound insulation up to 44 dB Rw (manufacturer data); VEKAMOTION 82: wind B3, rain 9A, air class 4.
