What is a PSK door?

PSK stands for parallel sliding-tilt (Parallel-Schiebe-Kipp). The handle moves the leaf into two positions: tilted to ventilate, or pulled clear of the seal and slid parallel to the façade in front of the fixed panel. The leaf never swings into the room — furniture and plants can stand right in front of it.

PSK door or lift-and-slide door?

The PSK door is simpler to build and more affordable, and it tilts to ventilate; the element measures up to 6500 mm in width. The lift-and-slide door lifts the leaf and runs it on rollers; it carries heavier leaves, the element measures up to 6500 mm in width, but it does not tilt.

Profile systems: the differences in numbers

Budget: uPVC, depth 70 mm, 5 chambers, Uf 1.3 W/(m²K), RC2. Mid-range: uPVC, depth 82.5 mm, 6 chambers, 3 sealing levels, Uf 0.89 W/(m²K). Premium: uPVC, depth 88 mm, 7 chambers, Uf 1.2 W/(m²K). Manufacturers: aluplast, Rehau, Schüco, VEKA, GEALAN and Kömmerling — the same window profiles, with the parallel tilt-and-slide hardware. Uw of the starting configuration to EN ISO 10077-1: down to approx. 1.01 W/(m²K).

Delivery across Switzerland — time and cost

Up to 12 products: usually 3–5 weeks. More than 12 products: up to 8 weeks. For special colours the delivery time extends by up to 2 weeks. Transport: CHF 450 for the first element, each further piece of the same type 30 % of that, at most CHF 1'500 per order, free from CHF 5'000 order value — kerbside, one tariff for all of Switzerland.

You get what you configure

The drawing is the production specification: sizes to the millimetre, opening type, glass, colour inside and outside. The indicative price includes 8.1 % VAT and every option; only transport is added. Warranty (T&C section 9): 5 years on profiles, insulating glass and window hardware, 2 years on door hardware and roller shutters.

Colours and decors

16 swatches: white, 10 decor foils such as Golden Oak, Nussbaum, Anthrazitgrau and Anthrazitgrau Glatt, 4 standard RAL shades. Outside decor +25 %, standard RAL +28 %; inside and outside separate.

Durable, because measurable

Sash limits per profile system and element limits are checked per system; a sash the hardware does not carry is not offered. The systems state sound insulation up to 48 dB Rw and burglar resistance up to RC3 (manufacturer data).
